The former UPPCO building, now called the Lakeshore Center, was renovated in 2009. The renovation was designed by UPEA. The building is a business incubator for Copper Country entrepreneurs.

UPEA assisted Saints Peter and Paul Church in Houghton with the design of their new church, which was dedicated in March 2009. 

 

 

Downtown Houghton saw major streetscape construction during 2009.

UPEA began assisting the City of Houghton with the project several years ago with planning and applying for funding.

This section of Shelden Avenue was completed in October 2009.
